Ibuprofen

Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) should be avoided during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester. It can cause premature closure of the ductus arteriosus in your baby's heart, reduced amniotic fluid, and kidney problems. Use acetaminophen (Tylenol) for pain relief instead.
