Long flights (third trimester)
✗ Best to avoid
Long-haul flights in the third trimester increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), preterm labor, and difficulty accessing medical care. Most airlines restrict flying after 36 weeks (or 32 weeks for twins). If you must fly, wear compression socks and move frequently.
