Hot tub
✗ Best to avoid
Hot tubs raise your core body temperature to unsafe levels during pregnancy. Studies show that elevated body temperature above 101°F (38.3°C), especially in the first trimester, is associated with an increased risk of neural tube defects. Take warm (not hot) baths instead.
